Amiran Gamkrelidze names sources of infection of 6 new COVID-19 patients

The head of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC), Amiran Gamkrelidze, said, one of the six new cases of coronavirus is linked to the Gachiani cluster, another one had a contact to the infected patient, three more have been imported and one more is under in-depth study.

Six new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia today, increasing the total number of infected people to 1177, according to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC).

Eight more patients have recovered from the novel virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cured patients up to 955.
