Amiran Gamkrelidze – Infection does not know who is whose son, it can affect everybody

Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health, said that his son Nikoloz Gamkrelidze, Chairman of Supervisory Board of Evex Network of Clinics, who has been confirmed to have the novel coronavirus, was in contact with the group of people, who returned from Italy several days ago.

“Infection does not know who is whose son, it can affect everybody,” Amiran Gamkrelidze said. He said that his son had been in self-isolation for the last 2 days and applied to the hospital after his first test proved suspicious.

Gamrelidze also reported that all those persons, with whom his son had contact, were identified and they were all under medical observation.

Nikoloz Gamkrelidze, Chairman of Supervisory Board of Evex Network of Clinics has been confirmed to have the novel coronavirus.
