Akaki Zoidze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Healthcare Committee says that the terms during which drug policy has to be carried out will be discussed during the sitting of parliamentary majority.

According to Zoidze, the legislation will become stricter for drugs seller, while it will be more human about drugs consumers.

“A person has not go to jail only for consumption of drugs. Everybody agrees on that. However, the final goal to persuade opponents that drugs consumption must not be encouraged. Drugs consumers will be forced to undergo medication and apply to prevention programs,” Zoidze claimed.

Bidzina Ivanishvili, Chairman of Georgian Dream –Democratic Georgia will attend the sitting of parliamentary majority today.
