ADB to invest USD 20 million in Georgian Railway green bonds

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) invested USD 20 million in green bonds of the Georgian Railway. ADB will use the money for the refinancing of the issued European bonds for the modernization of railways.

The investment is one part of the USD 500 million seven-year green bonds of the Georgian Railway. It is the first green bond of the Georgian transport company from the South Caucasus placed on the London Stocks Exchange.
