There is nobody remaining in the building of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB). Everything is in an automatic regime. We are waiting for the completion of procedures – Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Acting GPB General Director said.

As Bedzenishvili said, a notification has been recently received on the hotline of the broadcaster about presence of a bomb in the building.

“We have applied to the corresponding procedures and vacated the building, which is being inspected. We do not have additional information when we will be able to resume work. We hope that the procedure will finish soon. The broadcasting of First Channel and Radio has not been interrupted. There is nobody remaining in GPB building, everything is in an automatic regime. We are waiting for the completion of procedures,” Berdzenishvili said.

Employees of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) have been evacuated from GPB building. A notification was received on the hotline of the broadcaster earlier this afternoon about presence of a bomb in the building. Officers of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) are working in the building.
