Accused tests positive for COVID-19

According to the Special Penitentiary Service, the accused was diagnosed with coronavirus at the fever clinic. His health condition is stable for the time being.

As Special Penitentiary Service reported, after the accused was diagnosed with COVID-19, the escort officers and their family members went into self-isolation. They will be tested for the novel virus.

“The accused was transferred to the civil sector clinic by the escort officers. Therefore, the accused did not enter the penitentiary system and had no contact with it,” the Special Penitentiary Service said.
