The presence of clinical symptoms and concomitant diseases in each patient prior to hospitalization have been analyzed in Georgia. The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health has published a report.

According to the report, the most common symptoms are fever,  general weakness, cough, sore throat and headache (counted in 800 cases), change in taste and smell, which is counted in 500 cases.

As the report notes, among the most common concomitant diseases there were cardiovascular disease hypertension 88 (11%) and diabetes 39 (4.8%).

The number of new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 of population by place of exposure is the highest in the Kvemo Kartli region and Tbilisi and the lowest in Samegrelo, Zemo-Svaneti and Imereti. No cases of the disease have been reported in other regions of Georgia. The number of imported cases was 157 (19.6 percent) out of 800 described cases.
