According to Davit Zalkaliani, Georgian citizens are among those infected with COVID-19 in Greece, Italy, Spain and Germany

According to the Minister of Foreign affairs of Georgia, Davit Zalkaliani information on the number of Georgian citizens infected with coronavirus abroad is based on data recorded by Georgian consulates and embassies.

Georgian citizens are among those infected with coronavirus in Greece, Italy, Spain and Germany.

According to the Minister, Georgian citizens living abroad will be able to receive relevant recommendations from Georgian specialists.

“All of these people that we have registered are treated at home, they are self-isolated because, in many European countries, hospitals are providing the patients with recommendations at home, regardless of whether they are infected or have symptoms. Therefore, we will mediate between infected persons and the Center for Disease Control of Georgia to provide them with recommendations of our specialists”, said Davit Zalkaliani.
