Rex Tillerson: US strongly supports Georgia’s membership in NATO

Rex Tillerson, US Secretary of State made an exclusive comment with the First Channel.

US Secretary of State once again spoke about the Georgia’s prospects of integration into the North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and highlighted the US strong support toward Georgia.

“US strongly supports Georgia’s membership in NATO. We are looking forward to completing all the steps for that to happen”, – Rex Tillerson  said.

The United States of America supports Georgia’s membership of North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), –  Rex Tillerson, US Secretary of State made this statement after the meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze in Brussels, Belgium.

The meeting between US Secretary of State and Foreign Minister of Georgia took place within the framework of NATO Foreign Ministerial yesterday.
