27 Georgian Citizens detained in France

As a result of cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Central Criminal Police Department of the National Police of France and the Paris Criminal Police, as well as with the active involvement of the Police Attaché of the Central Criminal Police Department of the MIA, 27 members of the criminal gang, citizens of Georgia, were detained in France with the charge of storing stolen items, group extortion and being member of criminal gang.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported in that regard.

Law enforcers searched houses and yards of detainees and seized large amounts of money, various types of firearms, masks, fake documents, so-called “Atmicks” and stolen vehicles as evidence.
