2019 European Weightlifting Championships ends in Batumi (Video)

The 2019 European Weightlifting Championships ended in Batumi city of Adjara region. Irakli Turmanidze added three medals to three Gold Medals and three World Records of Lasha Talakhadze.

In total, the Georgian national weightlifting team won 15 medals at the 2019 European Weightlifting Championships.

Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze thanked all for organizing such a wonderful event on such a high level. “I would like to express my gratitude to the participants, weightlifters who showed us great sportsmanship and gave us unforgettable memories. I would also like to say that we are ready to host any international championship including the world cup,” Bakhtadze said.
