126 BMC-mark municipal buses to serve passengers in Tbilisi

126 BMC-mark, 12-meter-long municipal buses will be imported to Georgia, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said today.

The Euro 6 standard diesel buses will be produced by Turkey.

“We not only replace outdated buses, but plan to add new buses, as there are specific districts in the capital where public transport can not move, or if moves, the passengers have to wait for a long time at a bus stop. We will solve this problem,” Kakha kaladze said.

126 buses were purchased with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
