Working group established for regulation of covert auditions to hold meeting

Publish Time 2017-01-10 10:10:00 Update Time 2017-01-10 12:14:00

The working group established for legislative regulations over covert auditions will hold the first meeting today.

Members of the parliamentary majority will discuss how acceptable is the model prepared by the third sector based on which the so-called “key” to secret hearings should belong to a special independent body.

The non-governmental organizations prepared the project after Constitutional Court recognized the current law as being unconstitutional.

Members of the parliamentary majority agree that both human rights and security of the country should be taken into account while preparing the draft-bill. The parliament will have prepared the legislative norms by March 31.
