TSU Rector resigns


Lado Papava, Rector of Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University (TSU) has resigned from post. 

After continued protests of students and representatives of self-governance, Papava applied to Academic Council with a letter of resignation. The Council has already satisfied the application. 

Papava will officially leave post on May 1. Before that elections of acting rector will be held. The authorities will be terminated to Academic Council before July 1 as well.
