Wind electric power stations may be installed in Gori

New wind electric power stations may be installed in Gori town of Shida Kartli region. Technical-economic researches have already been done. The project is about building electric power stations having about 100 mg/watt capacity that will produce electricity with the ability to provide 80 thousand families. The value of the project prepared y Energy Development Fund is USD 125 million. Now it is now upon Ministry of Energy to seek for investors.

Various cultural and sports activities including concerts, an educational conference, exhibition and a flash mob will be held within the framework of the celebration. Together with President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Poroshenko is meeting with representative of European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia and President of Ukraine also inspected the territory where barbed wires are installed and talked to members of Vanishvilis family.

Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Agriculture visited fish procession factory opened within the framework of United Agriculture Project together with Shida Kartli regional governor this afternoon. The factory produces 150 tons of various fish produces every year. Thirty people are employed at the factory. The products are sold on local market. Their export is planned for the future.

Davit Rakviashvili, Secretary of National Security Council arrived in the villages, which are located adjacent to the occupational line and became introduced with the current situation. The occupied Tskhinvali region announced about planning of new wave of border demarcation works. Russian soldiers marked the so-called border with arable land in Knolevi, Tseronisi and Avlevi villages of Kareli district, Shida Kartli region on July 11. The border banners were installed at this section of the occupational line one year ago. Rakviashvili evaluated the process as yet another aggressive move against Georgia’s territorial integrity and state sovereignty, and called on political parties, public and non-governmental organizations for unity.
