Lawyers of Rustavi 2 TV Company will file an application in the European Court of Human Rights against the ruling made by Grand Chamber of Supreme Court on March 2 into Rustavi 2 case. Lawyers already demanded use of temporary suspension of enforcement mechanism. They are also preparing a complaint to be submitted into Constitutional Court. Former owners, brothers Kramanashvilis are intended to begin international dispute as well. "In spite of the fact that this is a very complex mechanism and needs very serious efforts, we are going to try it in any case. On Friday we’ll file an application with the European Court of Human Rights. Let's see how it all goes. I also call on the Constitutional Court to consider our lawsuits and finally make a decision on the unconstitutionality and the retroactive effect. If these two claims are satisfied, of course, this decision will be automatically canceled," Nika Gvaramia, General Director of Rustavi 2 TV said.

Petr Pavel, said at the NATO Military Committee meeting held at Radisson hotel. The Committee session was officially opened by the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, who thanked Defense Minister Levan Izoria for hospitality. Gen. Petr Pavel addressed the meeting participants. He praised the ongoing reforms and welcomed the readiness of the Georgian side to improve interoperability of its armed forces with the NATO forces.He thanked Georgia for its contribution to the NATO-led operations and international fight for safety. He also focused on the implementation of NATO-Georgia substantial package. "This cooperation mechanism helps Georgia to strengthen defense capabilities and promotes the process of integration with NATO," Gen. Petr Pavel said.

The government of Georgia is absolutely ready to consistently communicate with the Congo government to receive more information about our citizen, - Georgia’s Defense Minister Levan Izoria said on the captured Georgian pilot. According to Izoria, he has not been involved in the negotiations. “Our government is all ready to maintain constant communication with the Congo government in order to receive more and more information about our citizen, to be able to provide his rights protection,” Izoria said. The rebels shot down a helicopter and one Georgian citizen was captured and another- wounded as a result. As reported by Georgia’s foreign ministry, the wounded one has been provided with treatment in a hospital but another one still remains in captivity. His relatives say the rebels demand a million USD in exchange for release of Levan Osorauli, Georgian pilot.

NATO to boost Black Sea presence NATO defense ministers have decided to beef up the military alliance's naval presence in the Black Sea while taking additional measures in the cyber defense field and continuing efforts for stronger presence in the Baltic Sea, which are all targeting Russia, foreign media reports. Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Thursday that NATO will hold more war games and training in the strategically important sea, which borders allies Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania, but also Russia, Ukraine and Georgia.Russia's naval fleet based at Sevastopol in Crimea has been a major concern for NATO, especially after Crimea was unilaterally annexed from by Russia on March 2014 in a clear violation of international law. Six soldiers injured in a road accident. The vehicle of the 22nd battalion of the second infantry brigade crashed to a tree.The injured soldiers have been transferred to hospital. Health condition of soldiers reported as stable. The accident occurred when vehicle was carrying soldiers to the Simoneti firing range. According to Ministry of Defence the convoy was transporting in compliance with the rules along with military police escorts, however car slipped off and crashed to a tree.

Georgian peacekeepers, a platoon of the II infantry brigade has departed for Central African Republic to participate in the mission conducted under the EU aegis.
